The GSE Humidifier/Dehumidifier Controller is robust and really user-friendly, keeping things simple with two dials – one for setting the desired humidity and another for picking the humidifying or dehumidifying mode (as well as the hysteresis).

To dehumidify, you turn the mode selector dial to the left. The degree at which it is adjusted to indicates the hysteresis. To humidify, you turn the mode selector dial to the right. The degree at which it is adjusted to indicates the hysteresis.

Hysteresis determines the “buffer” around the desired humidity before your attached equipment actually springs into life. So if you want 50% relative humidity (RH) with 10% hysteresis, the RH will be allowed to drift by up to 5% (10% of 50) prior to activation of your humidifier/dehumidifier.

The GSE Humidifier/Dehumidifier Controller works extremely well when it’s used in place of the standard controlling device for the HR-15 or HR-50 Humidifier.
