Description

The information is used with the humidity and ambient temperature readings to display the vapour pressure deficit (VPD) value. Higher VPD readings mean increased pressure deficit between the surrounding air and the plats. Large deficits mean that the crops lose more water through their stomata. And low deficits mean that the crops are holding onto the water. The Maxi light controller can regulate the lighting output based on the difference in temperature between the surrounding atmosphere and the plants.
